LABEL

This is Lotta Wenglén´s (songwriter/producer) record company under which she released all of her own recordings as well as her side projects.
She started the company in the year 2001. Her grandmother was namned Margit and she taught Lotta how to play the harmonica and got her interested in playing music. Therefore it was easy to pick a name for the label. The purpose of the company was to release good music, made with heart. She started releasing her friends music and at one point she had 15 artists at the label. Nowadays Margit Music only releases Lottas music solo and in her different constallations (Blind Lake, WATERBODY).

STUDIO

In 2014 the MARGIT MUSIC STUDIO moved from Malmoe to Lotta´s house in Böste!

Our Studio Equipment

All recordings are made on hard drive through Interface RME Firewire 800 and Protools 12.
We have some great microphones and analog stuff that can come in handy such as UA compressor.
